Mike Chamberland – Fellow
Mike Chamberland is a Fellow with the American Institute for Full Employment specializing in information systems and best practices in Unemployment Insurance and labor exchange programs. Mr. Chamberland joins AIFE to study the effectiveness of public programs after 16 years in the operations of private business and information technology.
Mr. Chamberland is the author of the Institute’s study on Employment Exchange Board Best Practices – an in-depth study of public and private job boards, their design, innovation, content, effectiveness, and use of technology. This study is the basis for establishing best of breed standards as the currently exploding labor exchange industry continues to develop.
Mr. Chamberland earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Oregon State University. He currently serves as a board member for the Klamath-Lake County C.A.R.E.S. program. He participates in the Oregon Children’s Foundation’s SMART Reading Program and the citizen’s for safe schools child mentoring program.
